Shinobu Ousaki (王崎 信武 Ōsaki Shinobu) is a Seisou graduate who is in his 3rd year of college currently and he comes over to the academy three days a week to observe where he lead practice in the Orchestra Club.
Personality[]
Shinobu has a gentle heart who was the one who cheered Kahoko Hino up after she started questioning her abilities when relying on the magical violin compared to the music department's students who hard work in Episode 12.
Character Outline[]
Shinobu is the one of the characters who plays more than one instrument, majoring in violin and playing a little of the viola. In the past, when he was still a student at Seisou, he won the competition. His sole reason for playing the violin is for others to enjoy music the way he does. He teaches children who hope to be violinists in the future and he has requested help from the concour participants to help him with it.

Etymology[]
- The name Shinobu means "belief" (信) (shi) and "military, martial" (武) (nobu).
- Shinobu's surname Ousaki means "king" (王) (ou) and "cape, peninsula" (崎) (saki).
- Like Kahoko and her other potential love interests in Kin'iro no Corda 1&2, his family name has the ou 王 part, despite there are also Uranus and Neptune, corresponding to the former planet 134340 Pluto (冥王星 Meiousei) in Japanese characters.
